I am still on the road to recovery, and I continue to wait upon the Lord for my strength...
If you've been reading these journal entries for the past year, you know that I underwent a prolonged period of tiredness and exhaustion. Thankfully, I am slowly rebounding to full strength. Each day, by God's grace, I am getting stronger.
Nevertheless, I must confess that there are times when the pressures of prison life and the ministry, plus a host of other concerns, seem to press against me from every side. Like anyone else, I too have to contend with various situations or problems that arise. But my hope and trust is in the Lord, and Jesus has never let me down.
Even when my mind feels overwhelmed, God is there for me. He has not left me alone to fend for myself. And I am thankful!
Of course, the Lord doesn't always answer my prayers exactly when I want Him to. Nor does He answer in the ways I had hoped. But He does come at the moment He deems best for me, and somehow it all turns out well.
Therefore, knowing all this, I must echo the words found in the Bible in Romans 8:28. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose."
