And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath
given us an understanding that we may know Him
that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His
Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

I'm always amazed at the way God uses prisoners...

I see young Christians eagerly trying to encourage their brethren, and this gives me great joy. No doubt, the church that's there at Sullivan Correctional Facility is becoming a "Holy Ghost Hospital." It's a term I first learned of from the book CODE BLUE: URGENT CARE FOR THE AMERICAN YOUTH EMERGENCY, by Evangelist Nicky Cruz.
In this setting, even though it's a maximum security prison, broken hearts are being mended, and tormented minds are receiving deliverance. While damaged and bruised souls are getting healed. And it is all the Lord's doing.
Likewise, it makes me happy to be a Christian, and to be a part of what God is doing behind the walls of an institution like this one. Even in spite of the disbelief of men, and the daily scoffing of a society that has been brainwashed to believe that little of anything good happens in prisons, God is working miracles. He is forgiving sins. He is healing bodies and minds, and He is saving souls.
And what can I add to this? As the Scriptures declare, the Lord oftentimes chooses to use the foolish and dastardly things of the world to confound and humble the minds and hearts of the proud. And it is His way of guaranteeing He gets all the credit, which is a good thing.
