I’ve been thinking about going back to college in the fall...
Back in 1988 through 1990, I was attending classes at Sullivan Correctional Facility. I ended up graduating with top honors, earning an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration from Sullivan Community College in Loch Sheldrake, New York. Being able to sit with bona fide professors and interact with them was very rewarding, and I loved it.
Lately, however, there’s been talk here at Shawangunk that a four-year college may be starting up, offering majors in Psychology and Sociology. The cost of tuition is paid for by private grants. Thus, there’s no cost to taxpayers. A two-year college program has already been in operation here for a couple of years.
I’m busy enough as it is without college, but it is tempting to go back to school. I’m praying about it.
