It remains hot and humid here...
Some days the temperature in the cell block can get up to 100 degrees or more with lots of humidity which makes breathing difficult. I'm praying for fall to come early this year.
While earlier today I was able to share my testimony with the men in my fellowship along with approximately twenty lay ministers from the outside who were allowed to spend the afternoon with us in the chapel. It was a blessing to be around both my brothers who are doing time, as well as with our spiritual brothers who visited with us. During my talk, the two Scriptures I shared were Psalm 40:1-3 and 2 Corinthians 5:17. I also mentioned Psalm 34:6 which was the primary verse the Lord led me to those many years ago when I got down on my knees late one evening, and from my prison cell asked Christ to forgive all my sins and come into my heart. He did just that, and my life has never been the same.
