Today is a new day, and this is a new season.
Last year, at this time, the media was beginning to gear up for the fortieth anniversary of my arrest in the so-called “Son of Sam” case. As expected, I was under a lot of internal stress. Dreadful memories and the rehashing of terrible crimes. But now, for the most part, it has gone away. Yet my story of redemption continues to live on, touching people in a good way. For this I am thankful.
By God’s grace, I continue to get letters from those who received inspiration as a result of hearing my story, or reading about it. I know that Christ is still making it possible for lives to change for the better. There is always hope and forgiveness with God. “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
