Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have
you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed
for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou are
converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Luke 22:31-32
I believe that very soon Satan is going to try to "sift" me as he tried with the apostle Peter in centuries past, and what he tries to do with Christ's disciples even until this present hour...

Yet, the Lord told Peter that He will pray for him that Peter's faith not fail. I believe He is doing the same for me.
I know that because of the upcoming anniversary intense challenges may be coming my way, but from a positive vantage point this is something to look forward to. For it is a time and season for my faith to be tested, and stretched, and this is good.
When the storm is over, if I don't sink into despair and give up beforehand, I will come out a stronger servant of the Lord. My success will also, I'm sure, serve as a source of encouragement for my fellow Christians to continue to endure their respective trials knowing each has a great spiritual victory ahead.
