Clouds

The Lord has His way in the whirlwind
and in the storm, and the clouds are
​the dust of His feet.
Nahum 1:3b

God is good...

I can see the works of His loving hands in many different ways, both big and small. I can see it as well by watching the birds as they fly across the sky. Then there's the beauty of His creation as revealed in the clouds. As is written in the Old Testament book of the prophet Nahum, the clouds are the "dust of His feet."

I like this little known verse. Now, whenever I'd see mountains of clouds high above me, they serve as reminders that God is nearby, and that He's walking up there, while at the same time looking down at me. This is comforting to know.*
