Seek the Lord, and His strength:
seek His face evermore.
Psalm 105:4
I have about forty-eight hours to make a decision as to whether or not to take a new job...

There are pros and cons to this. I would once again work as a janitor/porter. But such a change would give me more personal time to read, write, and pray. There would, however, be a big cut in pay. I'd go from making $3.87 per week as a mobility guide for the sight-impaired inmates, to about $1.75. On the surface, this may not sound like much. But if you do the math, it would mean a loss of approximately $110 over a year's time. That's a lot of postage money!
Nevertheless, may the Lord's will be done. If I get the approval to make the change, it would only affect my mornings. I would still retain my favorite job being an aide at the prison's Intermediate Care Program, where, on weekday afternoons, I assist the men who suffer from various mental health disabilities.
