Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good
courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for
the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9
I remain thankful for the many ways the Lord has used my story of redemption to touch and inspire people from all walks of life...

And to use it to bring them to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. I know that with God, nothing is impossible.
With this said, the devil knows his time is running out. The promise of Christ's return has left him in a panic. So he is going all out to come against God's people, those like myself who have placed their faith in his Son, Jesus.
So, knowing this, we never need to fear the devil. Nevertheless, we do need to stay close to the Lord through prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Because according to the Scriptures, this is where we get our encouragement to keep the faith, and not turn back. "Let us not neglect our meeting together... but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing nearer" (Hebrews 10:25 NLT).
In addition, we also need to spend time in God's Word, which is the holy Bible. After all, the apostle Paul refers to the Scriptures the "Sword of the Spirit" (Ephesians 6:17). In other words, "Don't leave home without your sword."
That's my way of putting it. We should carry our Bible when we can. But best of all, we must carry God's Word in our heart. That's my advice.
"Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee" (Psalm 119:11).
