We are hoping for revival, and to have a greater measure of love for God. We desire to make God’s presence known within the facility, and we’re seeking more ways to show kindness and compassion to our fellow inmates.
As I wrote in my Journal for December 25th of last year, the prayers of the saints are vital for both the church as a whole, and to help further the work of the ministry. Such prayers, I believe, rally God’s angels into action. Opposition is neutralized. While those who are not a part of the body of Christ will even begin to show us favor so that the church prospers spiritually.
The apostle Paul, in a letter to the church in the city of Thessalonica, which is now a part of the nation of Greece, told them to “pray without ceasing” (I Thessalonians 5:17). Paul told them it was their duty to do so, and it is ours, as well.
