There are days when, even though I've been walking with the Lord for many years, everything seems flat...
My soul is dry, and my spirit is weak. And I am in need of a time for spiritual renewal and a refreshing from the Lord. Yes, it gets like this at times. For not every day is something of a spiritual joyride. Being in prison and living in a fallen world are also contributing factors to such seasons of dryness, and more.
Nevertheless, I know God is always with me. His Word assures me of this, and I believe what the Scriptures declare. This is what matters the most. And while there will always be bumps in the road and challenges to face and overcome, this I know: My help comes from the Lord.
