However, when I returned, I was delighted to see that one of the facility's civilian maintenance workers came while I was gone and replaced the bulbs. Finally, light !
I was without light since December 30th. Now I could use my typewriter in the evenings. Nevertheless, between being hit with the flu and my lights going out, I'm starting to wonder if this is a portent of things to come? Sickness and darkness, and the possibility of some media madness later this year. No wonder the Lord urged me to be strong and courageous, and to fear not. Joshua 1:9 and Isaiah 41:13.
Yes, these things which began on the last couple of days of 2016 and continued until now, may indeed be a portent of a great evil seeking to harm me, as well as the prospect of God getting ready to do something marvelous in the months ahead. We'll see.
