Maybe it's because I'm now in a new year, or because I sense that 2017 may be unusually challenging for me, that I see the need for more spiritual growth...

Maybe it's because I'm now in a new year, or because I sense that 2017 may be unusually challenging for me, that I see the need for more spiritual growth...
By this, I mean going and growing into a higher level of maturity in Christ so that I could become the man God wants me to be.
I'm not referring to overall biblical knowledge and the further accumulation of Bible facts, or knowing more Scriptures, although these things are good. Rather, I'm thinking of a deeper work of grace and stability within myself. In other words, I'm a work in progress who still needs a lot of work!
I do hope to accomplish at least some of this in the months to come, so that, by the end of this year, I will have become a better disciple of the Lord. It's a worthy goal.
