I thank God for how very far He has brought me along the road of life...
I have had my struggles with depression, rejection, and suicidal thoughts. And there are still times when I will feel challenged by these things. Yes, I've battled my share of "emotional demons." But even if I did not have Christ in my life, I would still have to deal with these issues.
The big difference, however, is now I have Jesus with me. I'm living by faith in Him. So, looking back over my life, I could honestly say that if I did not possess Christ as my Lord and Savior, I might have given up on life and committed suicide long ago, or I may have had a total psychotic breakdown as there were times when I was losing my mind.
But here I am today, confined, but alive and living with hope, all because of the grace and mercy of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I'm blessed, and I give thanks and praise to my Savior.
