Although it doesn’t happen very often, the Lord does on occasion provide me with opportunities to share my story of forgiveness and hope with those on the outside...
And one recent occasion was on January 27th at a Salvation Army Center in the town of Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Earlier today, when I spoke with my friend, Richard Delfino, he told me how that on Sunday he was able to tell my story to about sixty people who were at the Center that day. Rich also showed everyone my film, SON OF SAM TO SON OF HOPE. Then at the end of his presentation, Rich gave to every person in the audience who wanted one, a copy of my testimony pamphlet, SON OF HOPE.
Being this was at a Salvation Army place, I would have to assume that many who were there were and are having their own struggles with drugs and alcohol. No doubt some are also dealing with homelessness, too. So having the chance, albeit indirectly, to share my story of hope with such precious souls, was a wonderful privilege. I’m grateful! And I pray that many lives were touched in a good way, and Christ was honored by this.
