Already, the first month of 2012 is now about to end...
It went by quickly. I have been busy helping the special needs men as well as working at my other job. We're now deep into winter, and I've been trying to get more personal reading done; something I neglected last year.
Nevertheless, God has graciously given me yet another year to serve Him. I therefore hope to be as productive as possible in my service to Him, allowing for the usual amount of spiritual opposition and demonic warfare that will come my way, as it always does. And for this reason, the man of God is hereby reminded to, "Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:3).
Thus, with this in mind, I pray the Lord will continue to strengthen me for the work He wants me to do. May He likewise continue to protect me from every foe, be it man or demon.
And I trust the Lord will do all this, as He has for many years allowed me to be a survivor. And not merely be a survivor, but to fully triumph over all the onslaughts of hell. He has also made me to stand as a soldier of the gospel, and as a proclaimer of His love, mercy, and grace. In addition, the Lord has granted me the privilege of being His servant and thereby carry out His commands.
Survivor soldier, servant. This is what the child of God is to be.
