And now, Lord, what wait
I for? My hope is in thee.
Psalm 39:7
I spent some time on this cold winter's morning to reflect upon the Lord...
I for? My hope is in thee.
Psalm 39:7
I spent some time on this cold winter's morning to reflect upon the Lord...
...and the many wonderful things He has done for me. And Psalm 40:1-3, I believe pretty much, provides the outline of my life. In that, before coming to Christ, I was slowly sinking in the quicksand of sin. I was living without hope and was headed to an early grave.
But when I repented of my sins and called up the name of the Lord Jesus to forgive me, with great pity and tender mercy, He reached out to me with His strong hands. Jesus then pulled me out of the mud and mire of the world. He rescued me from death and washed my sins away with His own blood.
Moreover, since the day I called upon His name and placed my faith in Him, the Lord Jesus has given me a new life. He has put a song of love and thanksgiving in my heart.
As I have said countless times, if the Lord has done this for me, He can and will do the same for everyone who places their trust in Him. For God is no respecter of persons. He wants all to be saved and to have the free gift of eternal life.
This is what I want to share today. Amen!
