The Mercy of God

But he that doeth wrong shall
receive for the wrong which he
hath done: and there is no

God is a merciful being. He has been merciful and kind to me, and He is likewise fair, compassionate and kind to others, as well...

And for some updates, yesterday my Chaplain returned from his vacation. He was out for approximately two and a half weeks. In his absence, he left brother Philip and I in charge of the chapel's worship services. This is always stressful for me. So I'm happy he's back. And since I had to cover for him, it's only fair that I now take time for myself to rest, recuperate and get refreshed both spiritually and physically.

After all, I'd been in a state of exhaustion for much of last year. So having the additional responsibility of overseeing the chapel's services, especially during the Christmas season and new year, was an added weight. But God was good to me. He sustained me through it, and He provided me with the strength to do it. And I'm sure my beloved brother Philip could echo these very same words.

The Lord most merciful. The Lord most kind!
