And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks
because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.
2 Corinthians 1:11 NLT
I have said this many times throughout the years, and I will say it again...
because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.
2 Corinthians 1:11 NLT
I have said this many times throughout the years, and I will say it again...
I continually thank the Lord for those whom He has placed in my life. And not only for their friendship, but also because these devout men and women have been faithful prayer warriors, always interceding to God in my behalf.
As Moses had faithful companions who helped keep his arms upright so he could continue to pray even when he was exhausted, I too have been blessed with a host of godly friends who are helping me as well. They will encourage me when necessary and seek to bolster my faith during my times of weakness, while they intensely plead before God's throne of grace for my sake.
I believe that if not for these loyal friends whom I love, and who love me, I would not have come as far as I have in my journey with Jesus. As the apostle Paul wrote in his second letter to the young church in the ancient city of Corinth, "You folks have been a blessing to me and my co-workers of the gospel because you stayed in prayer for us. Your prayers got the results you wanted, and what me and my ministry partners were hoping for." *
Thank you, everybody! Father God received your prayers and granted your requests. And if I don't get the chance to meet and thank you in this lifetime, I will do so when we meet for the first time in heaven.
Therefore, to you I say, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen" (1 Corinthians 16:23-24 KJV).
