"Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the heir to King David's throne, has won the victory."
Revelation 5:5 NLT
I often like to remind myself and my brothers and sisters in Messiah Jesus, that we are on the winning side...

Jesus, as the "Lamb of God," has already paid the price for our sins. He has already conquered death, while at the same time securing a place in heaven for those who have put their faith in Him. Therefore, as Christ's followers, we've nothing to fear even as the storms of life beat against us, and the earth trembles with trials and temptations.
With this said, February has been a very productive month. It was a busy month with its share of problems. But my problems are nothing compared to what the citizens in the nation known as Ukraine are now experiencing since coming under attack by Russia. For them, the old saying holds true, "War is hell!"
Here at the prison, I have been busy with work, Bible studies, correspondence, college, and writing my journal. In addition, I have received a number of letters from strangers who had come across my story of redemption and were encouraged. And I continue to receive positive comments about the podcast I was able to participate in with folks who are affiliated with an organization known as Crime-Stoppers.
One woman from North Carolina wrote, "I saw the Crime-Stoppers video. Excellent! I shared it far and wide." While another wrote from Canada's province of the Yukon Territories saying, "I'm just listening to the Podcast, 'The Balanced Voice, Episode 36 with David Berkowitz...' September 2021. It's great!"
In addition, I was able to complete two projects. One was assisting a college student with her assignment. I answered her questions and gave her some information on other resources that I hope will be helpful. I also gave my input to a group who asked for advice concerning establishing a prison outreach ministry in their community.
With all that is going on in the world with its wars, and the stress millions are facing as life becomes more challenging, the need for hope has never been greater. Therefore, this could be the church's greatest hour of opportunity to introduce hurting and troubled people to Jesus. May we not waste our days.
