I will go before thee, and make
the crooked places straight...
Isaiah 45:2
Whatever experiences we go through as part of our journey with the Lord…
the crooked places straight...

...it will always work out for the good. It will work out for God's good, and ultimately for ours, as well.
In my experience, when it comes to making decisions, be they big or small ones, it is sometimes difficult for me to discern God's will. There have been times I’ve questioned whether or not I made the right decision.
When looking in hindsight at a particular decision I’ve made, it wasn't the correct choice. Either it was something that I chose to do, and shouldn't have, or it was something I did not do, but should have.
The need I have of often second-guessing my decisions can torment me. I have lost the peace of God over it. But what I have learned, over the years, is that some of the choices that I thought were good, were not. While, choices I made, which I thought were bad, were not.
I have also learned that my heavenly Father can and will straighten things out. He is fully able to correct my course. As His word declares, He can make the "crooked places straight."
In the end, He can and will make it all work out for the both of us. With Jesus, it is always a "win-win" situation. As it states in what is probably the second most popular verse in the Bible (John 3:16 being the first) is that in the end, "all things" will work together for good to those who love God… (Romans 8:28).
