Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer.

Romans 12:12
As my close friends know, I love to lift up in prayer those who live on North America's Indigenous and Aboriginal First Nations reservations and reserves...
It was at least thirty years ago when, as a newly redeemed disciple of the Lord Jesus, He placed it upon my heart to pray for many different peoples' groups and nations.
So today I prayed for the Cheyenne River First Nation Reservation and the Standing Rock reservation, both located in South Dakota, and also for the Constance Lake First Nation reserve in Ontario, Canada.
A handful of years ago I was able to exchange letters with the Chief of the reserve in Constance Lake. He told me that he too was a Christian. I made a commitment to pray for the now former chief of Constance Lake. He sent me several photos of his family, which was a nice surprise. Although we've lost touch, I will never forget to pray for his people.
Everyone needs prayer, whether they realize it or not. In the New Testament's book known as "The Revelation," there will be those from every nation, tribe, people group, and language, gathered around the throne of God. They will be in the presence of the Lord Jesus, where there will be endless praise for the One known as the "Lamb of God," who took away all our sins, and made heaven possible for all who place their trust in Him.
I've no doubt that on that day, I will meet those whom I, and multitudes of other followers of the Lord Jesus, prayed for. I will also have the opportunity to meet and personally thank those who prayed for me, as well. I cannot wait for this Great Day!
