These are crazy times...
Between the Coronavirus and other strange things that are currently going on in the world, many are living with intense levels of fear and dread. I also believe that fear and dread are like cousins. They're related.
But for those who know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and have placed their faith in Him, we could truly shout, "Hallelujah!" Why? Because our feet are planted on a solid Rock. This "Rock" is the Lord Himself.
All other ground, as a popular old hymn declares, is but "sinking sand." Sadly, however, I see that many are sinking into states of high anxiety and dread. They're depressed, nervous, and fearful. They're being pulled downward, mentally, and it is affecting their physical health as well.
There is, I believe, a good and healthy fear which God gives to everyone. And there is a bad, unhealthy, and demonically driven fear which can paralyze one's mind and soul.
