At present, I no longer have a work assignment...
The facility's doctor has put me on a medical restriction since my return from bypass surgery. Having a medical restriction is something that's routine in prison. And while I don't know when the restriction will be lifted for me to return to my job, in all frankness, I'm enjoying being unemployed. Now I have more time to write, read, and pray.
Besides, soon I will be sixty-five. At this age, many people have already retired. So what would be the rush for me to get back to work?
And while I am still actively involved in our chapel's Bible studies and services, I'm very grateful for having more free time to get some much needed ministry projects done, as well as answer mail. What a blessing!
