At present, I no longer have a work assignment...
The facility's doctor has put me on a medical restriction since my return from bypass surgery. Having a medical restriction is something that's routine in prison. And while I don't know when the restriction will be lifted for me to return to my job, in all frankness, I'm enjoying being unemployed. Now I have more time to write, read, and pray.
Besides, soon I will be sixty-five. At this age, many people have already retired. So what would be the rush for me to get back to work?
And while I am still actively involved in our chapel's Bible studies and services, I'm very grateful for having more free time to get some much-needed ministry projects done, as well as answer mail. What a blessing!
