I'm doing my best to answer all my correspondence as well as thank those who sent greeting cards to me this past Christmas and Hanukkah...
While in the hospital I was unable to receive or send mail, and it was only recently that I was able to retrieve my mail which was being held in the mailroom. Now I've begun to tackle the pile, one piece at a time.
I feel bad, however, for not sending any holiday cards this year. First, because I didn't have any. Second, because on December 8th I went into the hospital and didn't come out until well into January. Much too late to do anything.
My biggest concern was worrying my friends who'd been wondering why they hadn't heard from me, and some are still worrying, as they still don't know about my hospitalization, and because I've yet to get to their mail.
One thing's for sure, my typewriter has been busy. I continue to tap away.
