With a cold February coming to an end, all remains well with my soul...
I continue to work at my job assignment. I attend twice-weekly Bible studies in the evenings, plus
worship services on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I also go outdoors when I can.
Most of all, I'm thankful for the prayers of many friends who are as concerned as I am about the possible media storm that may come this summer as the 40th anniversary of my arrest approaches. I confess to having a degree of fear and concern about it, as it may be one of the biggest trials of my faith in recent memory.
If a storm does come, I hope it quickly blows over. But should it strike at full force, I pray that my faith will not fail, and that I will endure the trial with strength, confidence in Christ, and dignity. And as a result, that I will become something of an example of the power and faithfulness of the Lord to deliver His children from exceeding levels of emotional pain. And how one's faith can become stronger than ever before. I'm hoping for a complete triumph over sorrow, regret and fear.
