It is the Holy Spirit alone who convicts people of their sins and woos them to Christ, and not
we ourselves. It's not a work of human effort.
I added that at best, we are human agents whom God has chosen to use in order to help fulfill His divine plan. This is an awesome responsibility as well as a glorious privilege.
In addition, each of us will ultimately be held accountable for how and what we teach, and how we live as Christians. That we can be good and faithful stewards of the gifts and calling of God, or we can be Lazy, careless and indifferent. "So much is at stake," I stressed. I ended my talk by saying, "My God help us to be the best we can be for Jesus."
