My heart has been heavy because I think my Dad is going to die soon...

My heart has been heavy because I think my Dad is going to die soon...
He's been in pain for a long time. But now it appears he has begun to give up on life. He has even stopped eating. My Dad would be 102 years old in May, but he has confessed to me that he doesn't want to live anymore. I am not going to accept this, however.
My father is not a believer in Jesus (Yeshua). He is not saved. Therefore, he is not ready to pass on. Meanwhile, my friends and I have been praying fervently for his salvation. People who leave this world without Jesus face a dark and fearful eternity. I don't want this for him.
Nevertheless, my hope and trust is in the Lord. I love my Dad very much. But Jesus the Messiah loves him far more than I am capable of, because God's love is greater than a son's love for his father or even a mother's love for her child.
