God willing, February 28th is going to be my last and final day as an inmate pastor and worship leader...
I will still be active in church, always eager to assist where needed. But all the responsibilities associated with these titles will be over (I hope!).
It will be a new beginning for me. I will have fresh opportunities to serve the Lord with gladness. I believe, as well, that my energy will return to former levels like it was for me years ago when my life radiated the joy of the Lord, and I was excited about the things of God. I was eager for more of God. I was bold. I was strong in faith, and I couldn't wait to see what the Lord was going to do with my life. Those were happy days.
So I have to hold on just a little while longer. I know that Jesus is with me. His grace is sufficient. My change is coming. A new dawn will be here soon. Of course there could be more delays, and yet another setback, still. But in the Lord I will both hope and wait.
