2 Corinthians 2:14
In Christianity, the word triumph has great significance and importance. But so does the word defeat...
For the disciple of Jesus Christ, the word triumph means winning out over sin and Satan. While defeat spells doom for the Devil. Even now, the Scriptures declare Satan to be a defeated foe. That he’s existing on borrowed time. While believers in the Lord Jesus await our future in heaven, Lucifer awaits his place in what the Bible calls, “The Lake of Fire.”
But for now, I don’t want to focus on Satan’s defeat. I would rather proclaim the goodness of God by allowing me Opportunities to share my story of redemption, along with my prison writings, with people from all walks of life. This year the comments and responses have been especially encouraging, and this has brought much joy to my heart. What a blessing!
With all this, I will close by saying, “Thank you, everyone, and thank you, Lord.”
