Here at Shawangunk Correctional Facility, the Christian community continues to forge ahead with the work of the ministry, as we seek to help one another to mature and develop as disciples of Jesus Christ...
While this past Friday, we had our annual Christmas meal and fellowship gathering in the facility’s gymnasium. There were forty men in attendance, and we got to enjoy a special
holiday meal that was prepared in the prison’s kitchen. The food was paid for by the inmates of the Christian community, and not by the state’s taxpayers, in case anyone from the general public is concerned.
It was nice for the members of our church to spend time together, as we prepare ourselves for the year ahead.
