For with God nothing

This is a responsibility I share with two other men in our fellowship. Thus, I was able to give a short exhortation on Luke 1:37, a passage that’s familiar to many Christians. I said that if it was not for Jesus, I doubt I’d be in my right mind today.
I told the congregation that even before I knew Jesus as my Savior, He was watching over me, but that I didn’t realize this until I became born again.
Prison is a stressful and dangerous place, and one can find himself living on the edge, so to speak. And these men know this to be true. So they know about those who may slowly begin to lose their sanity, while others may start to give up on life, and lose all hope.
I told them that I too could’ve become such a casualty, save for the grace of God. Instead, He made it possible for me to survive incarceration all these years, and to even flourish in such a place.
