David's Love

And thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thine heart,
and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Deuteronomy 6:5

I hope that in the coming days my love for the Lord will grow...

Earlier today I was reading a selection of Psalms that were penned by the hand of King David. The love he had for God was astounding. It’s as if King David knew the Lord personally and intimately, which he did!

I too want to possess this kind of deep and abiding love for God. I want to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. It’s one of my goals for the year to come.
