For me to live is Christ,
and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:21.
It boggles my mind to think that by tomorrow I could be looking at the face of God...

Philippians 1:21.
It boggles my mind to think that by tomorrow I could be looking at the face of God...
I would see His throne. I would see a host of huge angelic beings encircling the Lord, all of them shouting, "Holy, holy, holy!" What a majestic sight.
Yes, tomorrow could be the day when I meet Jehovah, the God of heaven and earth, and of all humankind. Tomorrow I am scheduled for surgery, but for now, it's a matter of waiting and praying. And let me tell you, I've been doing a lot of praying!
I've already had a slew of different tests. While the head cardiologist and his team have already spoken with me and instructed me on what to do and what to hope for. Now it's a question of when will the action begin? They wouldn't say. I'll know it's time when the orderlies come and get me.
I'm feeling a mixture of peace and fear. I've never had any kind of surgery before, let alone a quadruple bypass. I know that despite the doctor's assurances, not everyone survives such a procedure.
Will tomorrow be my last day on earth? Is my prison sentence about to come to an end? I don't know the answers to these questions. But I'll find out soon.
