My flesh and my heart fails me,
but God is the strength of my
heart, and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26
I went to the restroom this morning and grabbed a handful of white paper towels from the dispenser that's affixed to a wall by the sink...

heart, and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26
I went to the restroom this morning and grabbed a handful of white paper towels from the dispenser that's affixed to a wall by the sink...
I then picked up the little rubber safety pen that I was issued, and I began to compose letters to several dear friends in case I don't survive surgery. The operation is set for Monday, two days away. The head cardiologist has already told me that I have four very clogged arteries that have to go, and there' s no guarantee I will survive it. |
Therefore, not knowing what the outcome will be, I have been writing letters and saying my goodbyes in case I don't make it. I've given my love and blessings to all, and I have also left instructions for my lawyer friend, Alan, to retrieve my property from both the hospital and the prison, should I die.
Alan will, if necessary, distribute the letters to the parties they're addressed to. It may be the last chance (at this time) for me to thank everyone for their love and care for me, and for their prayers and years of encouragement.
This is all. And whether I live or die, I belong to the Lord.
