How long will you forget me,
O Lord? Forever? How long will
you hide your face from me?

O Lord? Forever? How long will
you hide your face from me?
Psalm 13:1
It's Christmas day. I feel shut away from the world, and for now, I am...
Right now, I'm sitting in my room on a cold winter's day. My surgery is done and I'm in the process
of recovery. I'm sure I am making progress, but I still need oxygen much of the time as my lungs are yet to return to normal. And of course there's physical weakness, which I know will go away, eventually. Being that it's Christmas, there's a reduced staff at the hospital. So I haven't had many visits from the nurses. No doctors checking up on me. And this is fine. I am, however, thinking of what I am missing back at the prison. No Christmas day chapel service for me, and no fellowship.
But I have been reading my tattered Bible for comfort and strength. Taking my small rubber safety pen and a handful of paper towel off the roll, I am writing what may be an outline for a future sermon, should I survive this and return to Shawangunk. It's a message of encouragement
from the 13th Psalm.
I'm feeling tired. I'll share the message, hopefully tomorrow.
