Yesterday I got the chance to shovel lots of snow...
About 3 to 5 inches of snow was on the ground in our cell block's recreation yard. So another inmate and I quickly grabbed shovels, with the officer's permission of course, and we went to work. For approximately ninety minutes, my co-worker and I shoveled and pushed snow across the yard as we cleared a path for the other guys to walk on. It was fun. It was refreshing, relaxing and invigorating being in the cold and doing something useful. My prayer request: lots more snow this winter!
