After a time of Scripture reading this morning...
... I wish to continue with the message of always trusting in the Lord, and persevering in the faith during one's times of difficulty. So here are a couple of Scriptures that are some of my favorites, and which I believe are very important to know. They're verses one can recall and bring to mind whenever facing a spiritual battle.
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord" (Psalm 27:14). Also, "Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord" (Psalm 31:24). There are many others as well.
Frankly, there's no getting around the trials and tests that come our way. Life can be tough. But God has equipped His children with everything we need to conquer sin and the devil too. He has given us His word, the Bible. We have been given the Holy Spirit to dwell and guide us from within. What more do we need? May 2017 be better for everyone.
