Heavenly Biographies

Thine eyes did see my substance,
yet being unperfect; and in Thy book
​all my members were written...

Today I was thinking how our lives, as believers in Christ, are actually being written and recorded in heavenly books...

After all, the Bible says the Lord Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. And just as parents may keep an ongoing diary along with an array of photos of their child's life as he or she grows and develops, I'm sure the Lord is doing something similar.

The Bible does mention the existence of books being in heaven. Therefore, it is not the least bit foolish to think that as we live out our lives on earth, our loving heavenly Father is doting over us and is recording our best moments.

I think that when I get to heaven there will be some amazing surprises awaiting, to include the memories of good things, great blessings and wonderful spiritual victories, all diligently recorded and preserved by God.
