I was thinking today during my time of devotion, how we do not know how much time is left...

I was thinking today during my time of devotion, how we do not know how much time is left...
...before the Lord calls us home, or before things change in our nation where it will become much more difficult to share our faith and to take a stand for righteousness.
I was also reminded of the Lord’s words where Jesus warned His disciples that a spiritual night is going to come upon the earth, thereby making the work of God’s people much harder to do.
Of course, in a different sense of looking at this, the work of the Church will indeed get done because God has already placed the Holy Spirit within each believer. Yet, at the same time, the spiritual darkness may become so overwhelming that it will take everything the Christian has within him to carry his ministry to the most complete level possible. Time is definitely growing shorter with each passing second (see READY OR NOT).
