From the rising of the sun unto
the going down of the same, The
Lord's name is to be praised.
Psalm 113:3
From the time the sun rises in the east and sets in the west...
the going down of the same, The
Lord's name is to be praised.
Psalm 113:3
From the time the sun rises in the east and sets in the west...
...the name of the Lord is worthy to be praised. Therefore, no matter what circumstances I may find myself in at any given moment, or whatever problems may come my way, I will not allow these things to stop me from praising and thanking the Lord. After all, Christ never said the life of a Christian would be easy, only that He would be with His flock, always.
So although I may be undergoing a season of exhaustion, God's word assures me that as I continue to wait upon Him, He will renew my strength. My faith remains as strong as ever. And there is a day coming when I shall soar once more.
In addition, I am currently seeking the Lord's guidance on how to make my service to Him become more efficient. From what I have been observing in my own life, what I once believed was well-meaning service to the Lord was actually done more to satisfy others and to try to meet their expectations and demands. Now, however, I am becoming better discerning in this area. Of course, it has taken me twenty years to learn this, but I'm getting there. Amen!
