There are as many variations of satanism as there are denominations in Christianity. Some self-proclaimed satanists don’t even believe in the existence of a literal devil.
Such individuals claim to merely embrace the concepts that are found in “The Satanic Bible.” Strange, but true. It’s as if one claims to be a Christian, and reads the holy Bible regularly, yet doesn’t believe in God, or in Jesus Christ.
In satanism, concepts such as lust, greed, selfishness, and seeking one’s own gain at the expense of another, is encouraged. In satanism, it’s all about putting one’s self first. You are free to do whatsoever you please, even if it means taking advantage of someone.
Self-deception is a dreadful thing. I’ve been in this condition myself. It’s like being under a dark spell, and like being brainwashed.
Is there a real Devil? The Holy Bible declares there is. It states that Christ has come to “destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b).
