Between the stifling heat of summer, and all the noise and chaos that surrounds me, there are times when I will find myself complaining to the Lord and others about my situation...
I think this is part of being human. Yes, even as s disciple of Jesus Christ, there are times when I am tired, sad, angry, and hurting. I have my seasons of disappointment and discouragement, as do many others. I’m definitely not some kind of spiritual Superman.
Yet in spite of my times of complaining, the Lord remains faithful. Time and again, He has shown Himself to be strong on my behalf. The Lord has brought me through every storm, and He has lifted me from my times of frustration.
It is the Spirit of the living God who works from within, and who keeps me going. Therefore, I give thanks to God, even when I don’t feel like it, because it’s not about feelings; it’s about faith.
