The battle has begun...
With the fortieth anniversary of my arrest now upon me, various television programs and at least several newspaper and magazine articles have already begun to appear. It would be unrealistic and naive to think this period of my life will pass without my having to experience deep inner pain, and the resurfacing of many bad memories.
But what I do know is that this has caused me to dig deep into the Scriptures for comfort, encouragement, and hope. I've been praying more, as well. I have a spiritual battle to fight. Yet I also know I'll be just fine because the Lord is with me. He is mighty to save. And I believe that in spite of my present circumstances, my best days are still ahead.
