after those things which are coming on the earth:

Fear is a powerful emotion...
It oftentimes spells dread for those who've been stricken by it. And as I watch the news on television, it's as if I'm watching society implode as stories of racial unrest and fighting in the streets of America's cities and towns flood the channels, while acts of extreme terrorism overseas has gripped many with anxiety. Not to mention the threat of a possible war with North Korea, and the economic collapse of Venezuela.
Even Jesus himself spoke on these things - Wars and rumors of war, violence and chaos, earthquakes increasing and all kinds of distress in what the Bible refers to as the "last days" and the "end times." How life would become so stressful that hearts will actually fail from fear as the end of the age and the return of the Lord draws near.
Are you ready?
As for me, my faith is in the Lord. He alone is my source of peace, strength and hope in a world going mad. As the prophet Isaiah so perfectly expressed it, "Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is fully confident in the Lord, and because he trusts in Him" (Isaiah 26 3).
