If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which
are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
Colossians 3:1
Today at church, I shared how thankful I am that there are those on the outside who care about men like myself who are locked behind prison walls...

And I also spoke about the mercy of God. How the Lord spared our lives from our self-destructive behaviors, our sins, and crimes. How He protected us when we were living ungodly lives, totally unaware of His love and the plan He has for each of us.
But since coming to prison, each of us has been given the chance to hear the gospel. How Christ died for us to pay for our sins. And we’ve been given the opportunity to repent of these sins, as well. And if we have already placed our faith in the Lord Jesus and repented of our sins, then we now belong to Him.
I went on to tell my brothers that we should be forever grateful for such a rich and generous salvation. That if not for the Lord and his unseen hands, and His divine intervention, we’d have self-destructed long ago. But today we’re alive, and we’re flourishing in the Holy Spirit. We must never forget these wonderful truths, I added.
