Last night's powerful storm with its torrential downpour took away the oppressive humidity that was in the atmosphere, making it a near perfect day. So this morning I made sure to go outdoors
to spend time with my friend, Robert. Rob, with his easy going personality, is always a pleasure to be around. Besides this, he loves the Lord.
While in the afternoon I washed clothes and wrote several letters. Then after supper I reported lo the kitchen to begin my job on the late shift. It's a good crew of men. I washed my quota of greasy pots and pans, then cleaned my work area which has to always be done before closing time.
It was a nice feeling to return to my housing unit to get a hot shower and retire to my cell for the evening, where I am now writing this entry. Overall it was a good and productive day.
