The work of the Lord continues...
Little by little, my story of God’s forgiveness and hope is touching more lives. Lately I’ve received a handful of good reports, even a couple of them from strangers, telling me of how God is using my life far beyond prison walls. It is all His doing.
In addition, this past Tuesday I had a wonderful visit with my dear friends, Santos and Andrea. They’re both involved with Calvary Chapel’s Recovery Ranch in California. But much of the time they’re out traveling in their R.V. (recreational vehicle), where they’d preach and evangelize in churches, convention centers, camps, on the beaches and in prisons etc. Their website is: www.santosministries.org.
The Santos team of husband and wife filled my heart with lots of encouragement. They told lots of stories of how Jesus Christ is using them to reach the lost, hurting and addicted. And they sing and minister a lot through music, as well as sharing their own personal stories of God’s mercy.
It was many years ago that Santos was led to the Lord by a friend and band partner, Dion. Dion was the lead singer for a popular group known as Dion and the Belmonts. Santos is a Bronx, New York guy with a powerful testimony of deliverance from an empty and destructive life of drugs, and the driving desire to be a famous singer and entertainer. God had a better plan for him than worldly fame.
