Spring is late this year…
I'm a little disappointed because my tree friends, Miss Goldie and Mister Orange, are still asleep. Normally they would be awake by now and getting dressed into their usual spring season greenery.
Last year, winter came early, and autumn seemed to come and go much too quickly. As a result, my friends were not able to fully blossom into their gorgeous fall colors. I was disappointed.
For now, however, with the unusually cold weather, spring has been slow to arrive. Therefore, they remain colorless and barren, devoid of even a single leaf as they await warmer temperatures that are sure to arrive.
