Understandably, I have deep heaviness and concern with the upcoming fortieth anniversary of my arrest...
The fact that a number of media outlets are probably now well underway with their Son of Sam related productions, is unsettling. It's certainly something I don't want to have resurfacing again. But I need to face the fact that many of these presently in the works productions will eventually come to pass.
Unless the Lord does a miracle, for me, it will mean having to relive the past with all its pain and sorrow. And I will have to accept what I cannot change nor prevent. It will surely be a test of my faith.
However, drawing courage from the Old Testament story of Job, he remained faithful to God while enduring a crisis that was, without a doubt, far more catastrophic than my worries over a dumb anniversary.
